A Butler man has been placed in the Butler County Prison after being accused of threatening people with a knife in the City of Butler.
On Thursday, just before 5:30 p.m. police were called to the 100 block of South Cliff Street for a man threatening to kill people with a knife.
When officers arrived on scene, police found 64-year-old Stephen Brennfleck in a doorway near a knife.
Victims on scene identified Brennfleck as the suspect and police took him into custody.
Brennfleck was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, and disorderly conduct. His bail was set at $250,000 and he is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
