A strike is looming for medical techs at Butler Memorial Hospital.
The union representing 235 medical techs at the hospital submitted a 10-day notice to strike last Friday.
Union leaders say they were set to have another round of contract negotiations today, but those were canceled by Independent Health System leaders.
The medical techs are planning a press conference at noon today.
If the strike goes through, it would begin next Monday at 6 a.m.
