Butler County election officials say there has been a printing error that is impacting some mail-in ballots.
The purple declaration envelopes are missing the address for the Butler County Bureau of Elections. The total amount of envelopes impacted is thought to be around 50.
According to the election’s office, as voters place their stamp on the front of the envelope, you’re asked to check and make sure the mailing address is present. If it’s missing, you’re asked to write the election office address on it—which is 227 West Cunningham Street, Butler, PA 16001.
The election office is working closely with the U.S. Postal Service about the mistake.
Voters can track their ballot online. If you have any questions, you can also call the Election Office.
