Those planning a visit to Moraine State Park this weekend might have to navigate a new traffic pattern.
The restrictions Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to noon are to accommodate the bicycle portion of the Get Fit Families Spring Mighty Moraine Multi Sport Race Event at Lakeview Beach.
North Shore Drive will be one-way from west-to-east, starting at West Park Road and ending at Mt. Union Road. Those looking to access the Davis Hollow Marina should use Mt. Union Road. Additionally, on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. the youth portion of the race will occur at the Pleasant Valley Beach Day Use Area on the South Shore.
All areas of the park will remain open but park rangers will be on hand to help direct traffic. Motorists are asked to follow the detour signs.
