The Butler Transit Authority will purchase a new piece of equipment to help with maintenance of their property on Hollywood Drive.
The authority board approved the purchase of a Bobcat skid steer from Bobcat of Pittsburgh in Cranberry Township for about $86,000.
According to Authority Executive Director John Paul, this equipment will replace a forklift that is nearing the end of its useful life.
The skid steer is expected to be delivered in a couple of weeks along with several attachments including a forklift and a brush.
