The Pittsburgh Riveters clinched a spot in the USL women’s soccer league following a 3-1 victory over Cleveland Sunday at FNB Stadium. Mars high school graduate Piper Coffield scored the game-winning goal for Pittsburgh. The Riveters victory also clinched the “Great Forest Division”, for their second straight division title.
The Pittsburgh Riverhounds men’s soccer team in the USL tied Hartford 0-0 Saturday night.
