Students at Butler County Community College are approaching a deadline to apply for scholarships.
College officials say they have 166 financial awards available to students for this upcoming school year which is a record number.
The scholarships can range from $300 to $5,000—with the average coming around $500. New this year include scholarships endowed by the Italian Society of Butler County and the American Legion Riders Lyndora Chapter 778.
Students who are registered for the fall semester have until July 1st to apply for the scholarships online through the BC3 website.
