Two major events are coming to Downtown Butler this weekend, and that means traffic impacts for drivers.
Drivers will see road closures and detours this weekend as Butler hosts the Butler Road Race on Saturday and Cruiseaplooza on Sunday.
Parking on Main Street for the Road Race will close Saturday at 7:30 a.m. and then shut down for traffic at 8:15 a.m. until the race ends around 11:30 a.m. The closure will run between Wayne and Pearl Streets.
And then on Sunday for Cruise-a-Palooza, there will be no parking on Main Street starting at 8:30 a.m. Traffic will shut down at 9. Main Street will be closed from Wayne to Fulton Streets.
Both events will follow the normal detours of Washington Street and McKean Street.
