The Pittsburgh Penguins traded defenseman Parker Wotherspoon to Las Vegas Tuesday in exchange for another defenseman in Kaeden Korzcak. The 28-year old Wotherspoon had a very solid season with the Pens last year, compiling 30 points and a plus-17 rating over 80 games. He spent the majority of the season paired with Erik Karlsson as part of the Pens top defensive line. Korzcak is three years younger, and played 78 games for the Golden Knights. He compiled 16 points and a plus-6 rating. Korzcak had three assists over 13 playoff games for Vegas, but was also a healthy scratch for several games.
