The Pennsylvania Fiscal Office has released a financial analysis of an MLB event that took place last year.
In August, the Major League Baseball hosted the MLB Little League Classic at Bowman Field in Williamsport.
The IFO has announced the Commonwealth brought in $2.6 million in spending to the Williamsport’s economy after spending $1.4 million to host the event.
The total taxes brought in is over $180,000 and $844,000 in wages was paid out in wages.
