The Knoch School District is the latest in the county to implement a cell phone policy for high school students.
According to a note from the school principal, the high school will require students to turn off their phones and keep them stored away during the day.
The district believes the new policy will increase student focus, reduce distractions, and promote face-to-face interactions.
Knoch will outline more of the policy later this summer, but they say teachers and parents expressed support for the cell phone ban.
