The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) has announced new free lunch rules due to new federal income eligibility guidelines.
Families that already qualify for SNAP benefits do not need to reapply to the program.
The new guidelines went into effect earlier this month. The changes were due to new federal SNAP benefit regulations.
