A woman from Penn Township is facing charges after she allegedly shared inappropriate messages with a student at a high school in Beaver County.
24-year-old Sarah Jo Messa was charged after investigators said she exchanged more than 3,700 messages with a 16-year-old student at Beaver Falls High School, where Messa was a teacher.
Police say the messages were sexual in nature and contained inappropriate photos of Messa.
The Big Beaver Falls School District said in a statement that they were aware of the charges and were fully cooperating with the investigation.
