There have been a couple of more instances of West Nile Virus in Butler County this week.
According to the Mercer County Conservation District, there have been positive samples confirmed in Butler City, Cranberry, Slippery Rock and Zelienople.
There have been nine total samples of West Nile Virus in mosquitoes in Butler County this year.
However, there has not been any human cases.
The Mercer County Conservation District is ramping up surveillance and testing as more positive tests emerge.
