Cranberry Township is ramping up enforcement of e-bikes and other electric recreational vehicles.
Cranberry Police say they have tried to educate and communicate with residents regarding proper rules surrounding e-bikes. However, they continue to find people breaking rules that are leading to safety issues around Cranberry.
Moving forward, police say they will take enforcement actions when they find violations. That includes summary offenses or even taking and impounding the vehicle.
