Tomorrow is the deadline for student teachers to apply for a stipend while they are working.
The state is offering $10,000 to student teachers who are planning to be, or currently applying to student teach during this academic year.
The program began in 2023 to help encourage more interest in the education field as a teacher shortage emerged in Pennsylvania.
The state set aside $40 million for the program this year.
Applications must be submitted by the end of tomorrow. More info can be found on the PHEAA website.
