Pennsylvania State Police are reminding business owners that a deadline for skill games is nearing.
On June 15, the state Supreme Court ruled skill games are slot machines and thus they fall under gambling devices.
All businesses operating a “skill game” without a license will be at risk of penalty from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
State police say to comply businesses must not just unplug the machines but they must remove them from the store front.
The official deadline is October 13.
