Butler Township continues to move forward with the recreation complex at Pullman Business Park.
At their meeting Monday night, Butler Township Commissioners awarded a contract to Demex LLC in the amount of nearly $143,000 to complete site preparation for a parking lot on the other side of the Picklegate bridge from the fields.
This proposal was the lowest of seven bids received to be approved by the Township’s engineering firm, Gateway. This comes after commissioners rejected all bids received earlier this month for a version of the project that was larger in scope.
The work is expected to be completed within 60 days.
