The City of Butler will once again change a portion of Broad Street back to a two-way road.
City Council has approved a motion to allow traffic to go both ways on the part of Broad Street between West Brady and West New Castle Streets.
This will take effect once students have been transitioned back out to Summit Township School. That transition is currently underway and is expected to be completed by January 2nd.
The city previously made that section of Broad Street two-way after Broad Street School was one of the facilities consolidated by Butler School District. However it was made one way again when students were moved to the school in early 2017 due to water concerns at Summit School.
