The Pittsburgh Penguins will visit the Carolina Hurricanes tonight at 7:30pm. Injuries are mounting for the Penguins. The team had to call up four players from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton for the current road trip. Kris Letang, Bryan Rust, Chad Ruhwedel and Justin Schultz are all on injured reserve. Goaltender Matt Murray will also miss tonight’s game with an injury.
The Las Vegas Golden Knights have set an NHL record for an expansion team by accumulating at least one point in their past 10 games. Las Vegas has won five consecutive games, and have won nine of their past 10 in regulation. They lead the Western Conference with 50 points.
