The Pittsburgh Penguins begin a three-game west coast trip tonight with a visit to the Anaheim Ducks. Face-off is 10pm. Pre-game on WISR 680am will be 9:30pm. They visit the L.A. Kings tomorrow night and San Jose Saturday.
The Pens begin the night tied with the New York Rangers for the final two playoff spots in the Eastern Conference. They have won four games in a row.
Penguins right winger Phil Kessel has been named the NHL’s “third star of the week”. Kessel had five points in two games last week and leads the Penguins with 20 goals and 52 points.
