The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Los Angeles Kings 3-1 last night. Patric Hornqvist scored twice for the Penguins, Evgeni Malkin added a goal. Casey DeSmith picked up the win in goal for the Pens, stopping 28 of 29 shots. The Pens broke a 1-1 tie in the third period with two goals.
The Pens visit San Jose Saturday to wrap-up their three game road trip. Face-off is 8pm. Hear the pregame beginning at 7:30pm on WISR 680. The Pens will play five of their next six games at home following the road trip.
