The Pirates signed left-handed pitcher Felipe Rivero to a four-year contract Thursday through the 2021 season, with club options for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. The 26-year-old Rivero went 5-3 with 21 saves, a 1.67 ERA and 88 strikeouts in 73 appearances in his first full season with the Pirates in 2017.
