Two school scoring records fell last night in District-9.
Emily Hegedus broke a mark that has stood for more than 30 years with a game-high 29 points in the Gremlins win over Clarion last night. Hegedus broke Elizabeth Whitmer’s record of 1,496 points with a 3-point shot in the third quarter. She finished the night with 1,503 career points.
Emma Thompson netted 26 points in the AC Valley win over Clarion-Limestone and broke the school record of 1,265 points set by Hilary McCall in 2002. Thompson finished the game with 1,288 points in her career.
