The Pittsburgh Penguins lost to the New Jersey Devils 6-3 last night at PPG Paints Arena. The Pens have now lost six of their past seven games against the last-place Devils. Derick Brassard, Matt Cullen and Bryan Rust scored the Penguins goals. Matt Murray stopped 26 of 32 shots. The Pens went 0-for-5 on the power play.
The Pens will host Tampa Bay Wednesday.
The Penguins traded defenseman Jamie Oleksiak to Dallas for a fourth-round draft pick Monday. The Pens had a surplus of defensemen, and will also see the return of Justin Schultz in February.
