Nascar has introduced a new penalty system that will disqualify race-winning cars that break rules. Inspections will be completed at the track following a race, and any violation found on a winning car, will take away the race victory. The runner-up will be declared the winner, with the car found illegal getting just one championship point.
Daytona Speedweeks begin this weekend. The 61st running of the Daytona 500 is February 17th.
