The Pittsburgh Pirates have signed left-handed pitcher Francisco Liriano to a minor league deal. The contract is worth $1.8 million and $1.5 million in incentives. It is likely the Bucs will look to use Liriano out of their bullpen. The 35-year old Liriano pitched last season for the Detroit Tigers. He had a 4.58 ERA over 133-2/3rd innings, going 5-12 over 26 starts. Liriano went 35-25 for the Pirates from 2013-15.
