High School Sports:
Boys Basketball:
–Butler defeated Seneca Valley 86-81. Butler’s Ethan Morton led all scorers with 44 points. Marcus Might led Seneca Valley with 23. Butler improved to 15-4 overall, and completed section-play 8-2. Seneca Valley fell to 9-10, and went 4-6 in section play.
–Pine-Richland defeated Central Catholic 79-56.
–Knoch defeated Freeport 56-43. Ryan Lang led the Knights with 15.
–Mars defeated Kiski Area 93-64.
–North Catholic-86 Keystone Oaks-59. Isaac DeGregorio led the Trojans with 38 points.
The Mars 9th grade Boys defeated Pine-Richland 57-56. Chris Dvorak hit the game-winner with less than seven seconds remaining.
Girls Basketball:
–Knoch defeated Burrell 59-40.
–The Moniteau Girls defeated Karns City 55-43.
