Defenseman Brian Dumoulin did not play last night and is listed “day-to-day” with a lower body injury. He joins Kris Letang and Evgeni Malkin on the Penguins injured list.
The clinching of a playoff spot for the Pens is on hold with two games remaining in the regular season, and host Detroit Thursday. They remain two points behind the New York Islanders.

–Montreal defeated Tampa Bay 4-2, while Columbus lost to Boston 6-2. The Canadiens and Blue Jackets are tied for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot with two games remaining. Both teams trail the Penguins by three points.
