Winter road maintenance will again look a little more “colorful” this year thanks to the efforts of local students.
Students in the A-C Valley District have been recognized for their participation in PennDOT’s “Paint the Plow” contest where student artists decorate the underside of a snow plow.
With this year’s theme encouraging students to develop images based on school spirit, staff and faculty voted for their three favorite designs. A-C Valley Superintendent Dr. David McDeavitt selected the overall winning design created by a sophomore art student.
This blade will be used in the area around A-C Valley district during the upcoming winter season.
