Many local swimmers are eagerly anticipating the opening of the Alameda Waterpark this weekend.
The pool officially opens Saturday afternoon at 12:15.
The waterpark is open seven days a week this summer; closing at 5 p.m. on Sundays and Monday, and then at 7 p.m. on Tuesday through Saturday.
Admission is $10 per day for anyone over 13-years-old and $8 for those 12-and-under.
