Even though it’s been a mild start to the winter, experts want to make sure drivers are taking the necessary precautions to make sure their car is ready for winter weather.
AAA says to make sure you’re battery is in good shape. They also advise for drivers to consistently check their tire pressure.
“Checking the tire pressure is recommended because tires need more air during the winter,” AAA spokesperson Kathleen Zinszer said. “Also tire pressure can be found in the vehicle manual or there’s a sticker in the door. But it can’t be found on the tire itself.”
She also says to make sure anti-freeze and windshield washer fluids are at good levels.
