As we head into the weekend, many Americans will begin hitting the road and sky to travel this holiday season, and AAA says it will be a record breaking year.
115.6 million Americans will be traveling during the holidays—that’s the most since AAA starting recording the data 20 years ago.
In the Mid-Atlantic, an expected 13 million people will be traveling via planes, trains, and automobiles—which is about 4 percent more than last year.
Experts say Thursday, December 26th will be the worst day for delays, with the afternoon drive nearly doubling in congestion.
