As crews begin filling potholes from the past winter AAA is reminding drivers how to avoid costly damage to your car.
According to a survey done by AAA damages due to pot holes can cost drivers up to $600 per repair and costs American’s $3 billion every year.
But to no worries AAA east central has provided steps to avoid high costs:
- Inspect your tires
- Scan ahead for potholes to avoid hitting them while driving
- Reduce speeds
- Watch out for puddles
- Listen to your car for noises after an impact with a pothole that could have damage a tire or suspension components
