The acting United States Attorney for the Western District was officially sworn in to the role this week.
Troy Rivetti was sworn in as the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania Wednesday.
Rivetti began his nearly 30-year career with the Department of Justice in 1997.
He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dickinson College, his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University, and before joining the DOJ worked for a Pittsburgh Law Firm as a litigation associate.
Most notably, Rivetti served as the lead attorney for the DOJ against Robert Bowers, the Tree of Life shooter.
