Several rescue crews were called to the scene of a vehicle accident in Adams Township Thursday evening.
Calls came into the Butler County 911 Center just before 5 p.m. for crash with a vehicle on fire in the 600 block of Route 228.
Emergency responders from Adams Township, Callery, and Middlesex, as well as Cranberry EMS arrived at the scene to find two vehicles involved.
At least one motorist required transportation for additional medical treatment. Traffic control was required for a time near Mars Valencia Road until the scene was able to be cleared.
