As the Commonwealth mourns the death of three police officers, the top law enforcement official is warning of scams related to donations.
According to Dave Sunday scammers are always looking to take advantage of current events to defraud people.
If you’re looking to donate to the families of the officers, you’re advised to visit the Northern York County Regional Police Departments, York County and PA Sheriff’s office official Facebook pages for more information on where to make donations.
If you feel that you were targeted in a scam or are a victim you are asked to file a complaint with the Attorney General’s office online or by calling 717-787-3391.
