Late last week Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry sent a warning to a robocall company for their use of artificial intelligence.
The Life Corporation presented inaccurate information about the New Hampshire primary by discouraging potential voters from casting ballots, according to the Attorney General.
The Anti-Robocall Multistate Litigation Task Force, which henry is a member of, accused the Life Corporation of using Artificial Intelligence to make calls seem as if they were coming from New Hampshire Political party officials. They have warned the company to stop all illegal activity.
If they do not the letter warns the robo-calls violate the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Truth in Caller ID Act and other state consumer protection laws.
