Attorney General Dave Sunday is co-leading a bipartisan group of 35 state Attorney Generals demanding the platform X take action on the creation of nonconsensual sexual content.
The letter sent to “xAI” accuses the embedded AI software “Grok”, “ability to create nonconsensual intimate images appears to be a feature, not a bug.”
The AGs are demanding that xAI ensures “Grok” cannot produce nonconsensual intimate images or child sexual abuse material, delete, what has already been made, take action against user that made this content, and grant control back to users over whether Grok can edit their content.
The company now is not violating federal law but in May when the Take It Down Act enforceable xAI will be required by the federal government to follow these demands.
