Alabama quarterback Bryce Young was named the winner of the 2021 Heisman Trophy on Saturday night.
Young, a sophomore, also won the Maxwell and Davey O’Brien Awards this year after throwing 43 touchdowns. Following Saturday’s announcement, Alabama becomes the sixth school to have an athlete win the Heisman in back to back years.
Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett finished third in this year’s voting. Pickett threw 42 touchdowns this year and led the Panthers to a win in the ACC Championship.
