Hundreds of runners and walkers are expected in the Meridian area tomorrow evening to raise funds in honor of two young women.
All Saints Parish is hosting the 4th annual Twilight 5K and One Mile Run and Walk on Friday at St. Conrad’s Church on Buttercup Lane.
Following the race, participants and spectators will be able to enjoy food and drink. Proceeds from the race benefit the Sarah Kasunic and Emily Leyland Scholarship Fund at Butler Catholic School. The two young women were BCS alumni who passed away at an early age.
It’s also expected Butler graduates and Notre Dame track and field stars C.J. Singleton and Drew Griffith will be in attendance at the race.
