Hundreds of runners and walkers are expected in the Meridian area tomorrow evening to raise funds in honor of two young women.
All Saints Parish is hosting the 5th annual Twilight 5K and One Mile Run and Walk on Friday at St. Conrad’s Church on Buttercup Lane.
This event starts at 7 p.m. and includes awards, music, activities like a hay bale toss competition, food, and other refreshments like The Snowman of Portersville.
Proceeds from the race benefit the Sarah Kasunic and Emily Leyland Scholarship Fund at Butler Catholic School. The two young women were BCS alumni who passed away at an early age.
