Pennsylvanians voted to retain three State Supreme Court Justices and keep a Democratic majority of 5 to 2.
This particular retention election saw record spending and Governor Shapiro being a vocal support of retention for all three justices.
Justices Christine Donohue, Kevin Dougherty and David Wecht won a 10-year-term but Donohue will reach mandatory retirement in 2027. An election will be held in 2027 to replace Justice Donohue.
Democrats and Republicans spent over $13 million in this retention race.
All three judges received over 1 million votes and over 60 percent of the unofficial results.
