An Amazon driver has been arrested and charged in Zelienople after she allegedly wouldn’t move her delivery truck.
It happened last Wednesday when police in Zelienople were called to the intersection of West Grandview Avenue and North Clay Street to direct traffic as a disabled vehicle was being removed.
An Amazon truck driven by 24-year-old Jaala Bivins of Pittsburgh parked and blocked traffic, intending to deliver packages.
After refusing to move the vehicle, police say that Bivins became confrontational with police. The argument escalated and police took her into custody. However, during the arrest, she allegedly bit an officer’s finger and kicked another officer.
She was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and obedience to authorized person directing traffic. She was placed in the Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail.
