An Ambridge man has been arrested in Butler County he allegedly raped several children.
Police have charged 34-year-old Francisco Rosalez-Melendez for the alleged rape of a 17-year-old, 12-year-old, and a 9-year-old. The children are alleged to have lived with the man in Cranberry.
According to charging documents, the assaults happened between September 2023 to July 2024. After the 17-year-old saw Rosalez-Melendez raping another child, he allegedly fled from the home and never returned.
He has been charged with four counts of rape, four counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, two counts of corruption of minors, and indecent exposure.
He is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
