Multiple emergency crews responded to the scene of a crash at a notorious northern Butler County intersection Monday morning.
The two vehicle crash happened just after 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Route 8 and Branchton Road in Slippery Rock Township.
When crews arrived on scene, one of the vehicles was on its roof with people still inside. At least one person needed to be extricated.
EMS crews were also called to the scene to transport at least one motorist for treatment of unknown injuries.
Traffic was delayed in that area for around an hour to allow for cleanup of the scene.
