Another EV Charging Station Installed on Turnpike

Another new electric vehicle charging station has opened along the Turnpike.

PennDOT announced the EV charging station recently opened at a Sheetz on Freeport Road, which is off the Allegheny Valley Interchange.

This is now the 20^th federally-funded EV charging station in the state.

PennDOT is also soliciting 24 more projects for EV charging stations as part of their Corridor Connections Funding Opportunity. The deadline to submit applications is at the end of January.
