Another local business is helping children as adults fail to resolve a dispute hurting families in need.
As the federal government shutdown continues due to a failure to agree on a budget, SNAP food benefits are not being dispersed as usual.
That has led Back Home BBQ and Brew to offer a free meal to children with no questions or forms to fill out.
Children can choose from chicken slider, mac ‘n cheese, mini corn dogs, or grilled cheese. Limit of one per child per day and child must be present at the store to receive their meal.
