The Pennsylvania State Police are accepting applications for new troopers.
The state police have been expanding the number of cadet classes per year in an effort to boost state police trooper numbers.
Last year there were four total cadet classes; Shapiro’s proposed budget for next year also has four classes.
Applicants no longer need college credits in order to apply to be a state trooper.
This cycle of applications will be open until May 29th.
