The annual Pennsic War is off for another year, but there will still be a crowd at Cooper’s Lake over the next couple of weeks that will honor the olden days.
The event is called Armistice and it is replacing the event that is known as the Renaissance Festival. Cooper’s Lake officials say the layout and schedule of events will be similar to the annual event.
They also said many of the volunteers from years past are involved in the Armistice planning.
It starts today and runs through August 9th.
